Peanut Butter Pie

This easy Peanut Butter Pie recipe is light and fluffy and full of peanut butter flavor.  Crushed peanut butter cups on top are the perfect topping!

Peanut Butter Pie

If you are a peanut butter lover, you are going to love this peanut butter pie. It comes together quickly and easily. The only baking is the crust!

The filling is light and fluffy and full of peanut butter flavor. The crust is made with chocolate cookies, but you can substitute graham crackers or peanut butter cookies for more peanut butter flavor. Topped with whipped cream and peanut butter cups, this is a peanut butter lovers dream.

Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients Needed

  • Peanut Butter, creamy peanut butter. Avoid all natural peanut butter that is only peanuts as it can give you a gritty texture and you won’t bet a smooth pie.
  • Chocolate Wafer Cookies
  • Cream Cheese, softened
  • Sugar, granulated sugar and powdered sugar.
  • Milk or half and half
  • Heavy Cream
  • Butter
  • Vanilla extract
  • Peanut Butter Cups for garnish

  • Bake a 425 degrees F for 9 – 10 minutes
  • Let cool.
  • Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer.
  • Add in milk, peanut butter and vanilla and mix to combine.
  • Beat whip cream in a child bowl until it holds a stiff peak
  • Stir one third of it into the peanut butter mixture
  • Fold in the remaining whipped cream until thoroughly combined.
  • Fill cooled pie shell with peanut butter pie filling and top with extra whipped cream and chopped peanut butter cups.

Tips from leigh Anne

  1. This pie is delicious with the chocolate cookie crust, but you can switch it up and use graham crackers or evern peanut butter sandwich cookies.
  2. For best results, use the paddle attachment on your stand mixer when making the peanut butter filling.
