Why You’ll Love This Recipe!

  1. A chocolate smoothie bowl is a perfect quick breakfast idea that is full of healthy and delicious ingredients.
  2. Everyone can customize it to their own taste with various toppings.
  3. You can turn it into a drinkable smoothie for a breakfast on the go by adding a little more milk.

Ingredients Needed

  • Bananas. You want the bananas to be frozen. This is what thickens the smoothie bowl and adds some natural sweetness. I keep a bag of bananas in the freezer so I can just grab them and whip up a smoothie bowl.  Whenever my bananas start to get too ripe I toss them in a freezer bag into the freezer.
  • Almond butter. You can also use peanut butter or other nut butters. This adds flavor and protein.
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Honey. You could also use agave or maple syrup
  • Milk. Almond milk or regular milk will work.
  • Vanilla Extract. You could also use almond extract.
